The Experience Factor

The level of experience of the attorneys at Gardner & Kewley is unique.  The majority of the attorneys  have been admitted to practice law for at least 15 years, and most have been practicing for more than 20 years. 

The lessons learned from a decade or more of practice are invaluable.  Are  experienced attorneys better prepared to handle cases more efficiently than are firms with blended staffs?  Gardner & Kewley believes that experience leads to efficiency, and efficiency lowers the number of hours required to correctly accomplish a task.  Gardner & Kewley believes that experienced attorneys have a much shorter learning curve because the handling attorney has been down the road before.  When handling a file, experienced attorneys do not engage in an iterative process, prolonged by indecision because experience has already taught the seasoned attorney how to handle a particular case.  The experienced attorney knows intuitively when to dispose of a case because counsel’s judgment is tempered by reality, not by what someone read or was told. Gardner & Kewley believes that there simply is no substitute for experience.
